Details:

Join The Local Group at the Valencia Mall for some Sidewalk Astronomy! We will be set up in the plaza outside the food court near Sisley Restaurant.

Sunset is at 7:06 but we'll be there around 6pm to set up. We may bring some Solar telescopes so we can safely look at our closest star.

This is always a lot of fun for our members and the public alike. We might even get the Mall to turn off some of the lights for better viewing!

Saturday we should at least be able to see Mars, Saturn and the Moon.

Notes:

This is a very bright location. The mall will not turn down some of the lights for us. Expect mostly planetary and lunar viewing. High traffic area.
