Our regularly scheduled club meeting at a new location! Due to the election, we are unable to hold our meeting at the Valencia library this month. We have secured a new location in room 107 of the Dr. Dianne Van Hook University Center on the Valencia campus of College of the Canyons. This looks to be a great venue.

NOTE: The meeting time has changed as well. It will be from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.

Since we will have a bit of extra time, it is highly likely there will be a Constellation-of-the-Month talk preceding the lecture.

Our speaker this month will be Tim Robertson from the Association of Lunar and Planetary Observers (ALPO). He will talk about... Lunar and Planetary Observing as well as the ALPO association.

These meetings are free and open to the public.

The Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook University Center is located on the Valencia campus of College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita. The college is located on Rockwell Canyon Rd. and the University Center is at the end of University Center Dr. The Local Group will hold our club meetings in room 107 on the first floor.
