NOTICE: In response to the current COVID-19 situation, the park service and The Local Group have decided to cancel this event.

Join us for another wonderful open house at the Placerita Canyon Nature Center. This free event is fun for all ages with visiting animals, hikes, talks and exhibits.

The Local Group will be there with our booth, handouts and Solar scopes. These special telescopes allow the safe viewing of our nearest star, the Sun.

Location Info:

The Placerita Canyon Nature Center is located off Placerita Canyon Rd. east of the 14 freeway. We used to hold our meetings there. We still participate in their annual open house.

This is a State park so please follow all the park regulations.
