Star Party Canceled. The public star party scheduled for Saturday Evening January 21, 2023 at Vasquez Rocks County Park has been canceled due to hazardous conditions at the park as a result of the rains. We will post the next star party event on our web site and here on Facebook once a date has been determined.

Enter the park via the main gate, turn left at the ranger station and continue to the end of the road past the large rocks.

Notes:

This is a County Park so please be mindful of the rules. aka, no alcohol. No smoking of any kind except in your vehicle. The park normally closes at sundown but during our Star Parties, we make special arrangements to have the gates open until the event concludes. Also, please stay at the event after dark. The rest of the park is not open to the public after dark and you will be asked to leave if you stray from the event area.
