Our regularly scheduled club meeting taking place at Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Valencia.

These meetings are free and open to the public.

This month we will be having a talk by Vahid Talaie on the construction of a Dobsonian telescope. Hell talk about the design and build process. If you are interested in building a scope, this is for you.

Also, Dave Flynn will be presenting a Constellation of the Month talk on a famous Summer constellation.

Finally, and most importantly, the club will be holding Board Member elections. Please attend and cast your ballot for your favorite board members. This year we have Mark Barton, Greg Lewis and Danny Zeddy on the ballot. Dave Flynn will also talk about new officer positions and committee chairperson appointments coming up. Please consider helping us run the club by participating in one (or more!) of the various staff positions.

The Barnes & Noble bookstore located on the East side of Valencia Blvd, between Magic Mountain Pkwy and Creekside Rd.

The club holds it's monthly meetings here. As you enter, the meeting room is to the left.

This Barnes & Noble bookstore also has a Starbucks so feel free to pick up a latte before the meeting.
