The Local Group Astronomy Club will be at this location with their telescopes for everyone to enjoy. You’re encouraged to look through the different types of telescopes and ask the astronomers questions about their telescopes and or what celestial object you're seeing through their telescope.
Telescope Work Shop
If you have a telescope and don’t know how to set it up or use it, you may bring it to our “Work Shop” and our members will help you to set your telescope up and show you how to use it. Please make sure you bring all the pieces and any necessary batteries.
Additionally:
There is a Vault type restroom (concrete structure) with no running water.
It’s a good idea to bring toilet paper just in case the restroom has none.
Clothing : it can and does get very cold at this location, be sure to bring cold weather clothing.
