Details:

The Spring COC star party. The Local Group will be there as always providing telescopes for the public to view the wonders of the night sky. The Moon and planets will be visible at sundown (7:30) with other stars coming out around 8:30.

The Moon will be in it's first quarter (waxing gibbous) so quite bright. It should still be a great target (with lots of filters!) as there should be good shadows along the terminator making the terrain visible. Jupiter and Venus will be fun planetary targets with Jupiter's great red spot visible around 9pm (again with appropriate filters).

We will be set up in the lower plaza below the science building as usual.
